The Challenge
A team of crypto veterans acquired a launchpad codebase. It arrived mothballed - no deployment, no running environment, no documentation, no active maintenance. The platform was substantial but dead in the water. They needed an engineering team to bring it back to life, extend it, and run it.
What We Inherited
A full IDO (Initial DEX Offering) platform: user-facing frontend, admin dashboard, API server, smart contracts, and a blockchain event indexer. The architecture was sound but dormant - nothing was provisioned, connected, or deployed.
What We Did
Revival & Deployment
We worked through the entire stack - provisioned infrastructure, connected services, deployed contracts, and got the platform running in production. Not a simple "flip the switch" - this was archaeological work across multiple codebases with no handoff documentation.
Multi-Chain Expansion
The platform was deployed across multiple blockchain networks. Each network required its own contract deployments, currency configurations, and event indexing. Chain onboarding was a regular part of the work as the team expanded to new networks.
Feature Development
Beyond getting it running, we extended the platform:
- VIP tier pools - special allocation rounds for high-value participants
- Staking system with NFT multipliers - users stake tokens and NFTs for allocation boosts, with snapshots for fair distribution
- Video content support - media system for project marketing
- Mobile responsiveness - full responsive redesign of the IDO interface
- Admin tooling - enhanced user management, exports, and content editing
Ongoing Operations
Background systems handled pool lifecycle management, automated processes at key milestones, token price feeds, and blockchain event indexing across all networks. We handled bugs, deployments, chain onboarding, and feature requests on a retainer basis.
The Result
The client launched a multi-chain crypto launchpad processing real token sales across multiple blockchain networks. M87 served as the engineering team - the founding team focused on deal flow and community while we handled everything technical. The engagement started as "get this running" and grew into a full engineering partnership.
